English resume

The Business Council for Sustainable Development – Denmark (RBE) represents a strong group of ambitious companies proactively working to promote sustainable business.

RBE was founded in 2006 by visionary Danish companies. The companies were convinced that:

  • There is an increasing global imbalance between, on the one hand, the growing prosperity and world population and on the other hand, the way we provide our goods.

  • The business community can make a significant contribution to a responsible society by running their business in a sustainable way.

  • The political ambition should be to strengthen market conditions for sustainable business in order to make sustainability the obvious choice.

RBE is the Danish regional representative of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). Through this position, RBE is able to communicate knowledge from the WBCSD's activities and establish ties with the international network of WBCSD.
